Mars is located at a distance of 220 million kilometers from Earth. With current technology it takes about 4 years to reach this planet. A few days ago, the robotic spacecraft Curiosity took about 10 months to reach Mars. Manned spacecraft will take longer. Because in this case, people need to take food and drink with them for survival. And to carry them, relatively large vehicles will be required and oil consumption will also be high. Therefore, the researchers of the US space research institute NASA and the Washington-based spacecraft manufacturing company MSNW have undertaken the project of making a 'nuclear fusion'-based spacecraft. They hope that if this technology is successful, they can go to Mars and come back in just 30 days. And it will reduce the health risk.

For the past few years, Washington University lead researcher John Sluff has worked on various stages of developing a fusion-based rocket. According to him, this spacecraft will be very simple in terms of shape. But be very strategic in terms of technology. The vehicle can fly at a speed of 2 lakh kilometers per hour. Currently, NASA's robotic spacecraft Curiosity is busy searching for life on Mars. Through this, researchers have found evidence of ancient river lines, pebbles and water flow on Mars.
