After a long time, it seemed that a breeze of peace was blowing in the country. It was only for one day though. Speaking of yesterday. Yet it may be too much for us. If the political leaders really have a good opinion! What is the harm in thinking of such things?

Bangladesh cricket team has advanced to the second round of World Cup cricket for the first time. This is a big find for us. And so every people of Bangladesh have agreed on this one issue. Different ideologies have also united in the current context. And so programs like hartal have been relaxed. Joy processions were held in every region of the country including the capital Dhaka. Despite the ongoing violence across the country, people have come together regardless of party affiliation. Everyone took to the streets and celebrated. Encouraged our Damal boys. It added a different dimension to the present situation. We want Bengalis to be united like this all year round. Let everyone work together on national issues despite differences in ideologies. Then one day the country we freed in return for many rakshas will be worth it.
