Boston Marathon Bombing Killed 3 injured 150

The Dhaka Times Desk Many casualties have been reported in the bomb blast at the Boston Marathon in the United States. This marathon was organized yesterday on April 15. While the marathon was in progress, it was suddenly shaken by a loud noise. At this time, people started running around. During this time at least 3 people were killed and at least 150 people including 8 children were injured.


Around 3:30 a.m. on April 15, two loud explosions occurred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Meanwhile, the entire area was engulfed in smoke. One by one, the victims fell to the ground. Some of the 27,000 runners were still reaching the finish line to become a part of history. But two hours earlier the early runners finished their race. Most of the injured are spectators. Some of their hands and feet, some other parts of the body are either severed or have deep wounds.

According to online newspaper sources, many consider this terrible incident to be a terrorist attack. But after the incident, President Barack Obama said in a short message, "We don't know who or who caused this incident." But whoever is responsible for this will be found. He said, those involved in this attack will be brought to justice.

After the incident, flights to Boston were canceled. Subway service is closed. Boston police have advised the general public to stay indoors or avoid gatherings.

The central security department said the attack was highly organized and planned. They called it a terrorist attack. But President Obama did not call it a terrorist attack. He said, we will confirm who did this and why.

Witnesses said two explosions occurred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The second blast occurred within seconds of the first blast. After these two bombs exploded in downtown Boston's Copley Square, the entire area was engulfed in smoke.

Note that this traditional marathon starts on the morning of April 15. 27 thousand runners participated in this marathon. The runners started to complete the marathon about two hours before the bombing. But many were still finishing their races towards the end. At exactly one such time, two explosions occurred at quarter past three. During this time, it was seen that some of the runners, volunteers of the marathon and general spectators started to fall on the ground after being hit by the bomb. Health workers rushed to the scene and treated the injured and later shifted them to a local hospital. Hospitals said they have treated at least 141 people so far.

Meanwhile, two more unexploded objects were recovered from the spot after the blast. Police quickly removed people from the scene after the incident. Seals the entire area. Attempts are being made to identify those involved from unexploded ordnance.
