Two-time National Film Award-winning actress Nipun Akhtar has announced that she will stay away from acting for 40 days. He will stay away from acting for 40 consecutive days. The actress told the makers that she took this decision mainly for religious reasons.

Nipun returned to Dhaka from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah on March 17. On March 11, he went to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Umrah Hajj. He was accompanied by his younger brother Hasan Imtiaz. Even after returning to the country, he is not returning to acting before the end of 40 days - he informed the makers. When asked why, Nipun said, 'Hajj has some rules and regulations. Therefore, it is not possible to return to acting even if you want to. So I will not participate in any kind of shooting for 40 days.'

It should be noted that the film 'Kartuj' starring Nipun was released at the beginning of this month. Although two more films were slated for release, the release was canceled at the last minute due to political instability. Nipun's films about the liberation war have created a huge response.
