The United States is going to recognize the state of Palestine?

We all know about the position of the United States on the state of Palestine. Is the policy that has been going on for a long time going to change now? In fact, the United States is going to recognize the state of Palestine? Such an attitude has been seen by the current US President Barack Obama. Political analysts of the world are therefore trying to polarize again.

The main reason for this is that many times in the past, the proposal to recognize the Palestinian state in the United Nations failed only because of the veto of the United States in the Security Council. But the surprising thing is that this time the country itself is thinking of signing it. One of the reasons for this is a comment made by the Israeli Prime Minister in a campaign during Israel's recently concluded national elections.

According to media reports, Netanyahu pledged that the Palestinian state will not be formed under his prime ministership as the last attempt to gain right-wing votes in the last minute of the election! He also faced widespread international criticism on this issue. After winning the elections, he reversed his previous position and restated his position in favor of a two-state solution at least three times. However, this time in his comments - the United States is not willing to compromise. The US is taking the previous comment as its final position. CNN reported this.

In an interview given to the Huffington Post last Saturday, US President Barack Obama said, 'We took him at his word when he (Netanyahu) said that there would be no Palestinian state, at least during his prime ministership. We never want to see chaos in that region. And we are considering the remaining alternative ways to ensure that.

This is the president's first public comment on the issue since Netanyahu won the just-concluded national elections. Netanyahu promised Israeli voters not to allow the creation of a Palestinian state during his campaign. But immediately after winning the election, Netanyahu changed his tune and expressed his position in favor of the two-state proposal.

Usually, after an Israeli prime minister is elected, the sitting US president immediately calls the winner to congratulate him, according to media reports. But Obama took 2 whole days to congratulate Netanyahu. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest declined to tell reporters if Netanyahu had expressed his true position on the two-state solution in their conversation. But Obama told Netanyahu that the future of US relations with Israel would be 'reconsidered'.

It is believed that Obama told him this after Netanyahu made provocative comments about the creation of a Palestinian state. Obama administration officials say the United States is even now considering signing a UN resolution on Palestinian state recognition. In the past, the proposal was never passed due to strong opposition from the United States. US President Obama also commented that "Netanyahu's rhetorical comments about Arab voters are in conflict with Israel's traditions". And so, taking everything into consideration, a new polarization is heading towards the Palestine issue. And this attitude is seen by political analysts as positive.
