The Dhaka Times Desk Kusum-Prosenjit's 'Sankhchil' is being shot at Satkhira border. The shooting started from March 23 and will continue for 10 days till April 2.

The shooting of the film 'Sankhchil' produced by Impress Telefilm starring Kusum and Prosenjit from Bengal is going on in the border area of Satkhira region of Bangladesh. Popular Indian actor Prasenjit Chatterjee is now in Satkhira to act in the film. The shooting will continue for 10 days at various locations on the banks of Ichamati River in Debhata. Meanwhile, enthusiastic crowds are thronging the Debhata border to catch a glimpse of Indian actor Prasenjit at the shoot.
Opar Bengali filmmaker Gautam Ghosh announced the production of a film titled 'Sankhchil' after 'Moner Manhoos' in Kolkata on March 2. Popular Bangladeshi actress Kasum Shikder and famous Indian actor Prasenjit are playing the lead roles in the film. Mamunur Rashid, Dipankar Dey, Priyanshu Chattopadhyay, Arindam Sheel, Anum Rahman and others are acting in the film.
It should be noted that the shooting of the India-Bangladesh joint production of 'Sankhchil' has started on March 3 at the border of West Bengal, India. From March 23, shooting has started on the opposite bank of the same river, i.e. on the Bangladesh border. Will continue until April 2. Sayantani Puttund has written the screenplay of 'Sankhchil'.
