Earthquake again today: People are scared

The Dhaka Times Desk Earthquake happened again today. After yesterday's incident, there was already panic among the people. Today's earthquake scared the people.

Even today, the earthquake was felt in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka. This earthquake was felt at around 1:13 PM on Sunday.

But today's stability was less than yesterday's. During this earthquake of about 30 seconds duration today, panicked people left their homes and offices and came down to the streets.

According to the United States Geological Survey agency USGS, the source of today's earthquake was the Kodari area of Nepal. Its magnitude at the center was 6.7 on the Richter scale.

It should be noted that yesterday (Saturday) an earthquake of magnitude 7.8 occurred in Lamjung area west of Kathmandu, Nepal. More than 2000 people have been killed in Nepal so far. Thousands of people were injured. Earthquakes were also felt in Bangladesh and India yesterday due to the Lamjung earthquake. 54 people were killed in India and 3 in Bangladesh. Many buildings in Bangladesh have collapsed. Sources from the Geological Department of India claimed that there is a risk of more earthquakes.
