The picture you see is the Sufiya Museum in Turkey, but it is actually a mosque. It also has some history.

According to media sources, the first recitation of the Holy Quran in 85 years was held at the historic Hagia Sophia museum in Turkey. The Holy Quran was recited at the beginning of the program organized by the Ministry of Religion of Turkey under the title of 'Love of Prophet Ay Sufiya' on the occasion of the birthday of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

"Daily Sabah", one of Turkey's most influential newspapers, published such news on April 11. A calligraphy exhibition was also organized in the museum to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The exhibition will continue till May 8.

According to history, this building in Istanbul was not actually a museum. It was used as a cathedral for almost 1000 years from the time of its construction until 1453. That year, Ottoman Sultan Muhammad II conquered Istanbul and converted it into a mosque. Later it was converted into a museum in 1935 during the reign of Kemal Atatürk.
