BNP's 'missing' Joint Secretary General Salah Uddin Ahmed is currently undergoing treatment at a psychiatric hospital in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. His wife Hasina Ahmed told reporters today. He went missing on March 10.

Hasina Ahmed told reporters at around 3 o'clock on Tuesday, "Salah Uddin Ahmed is under treatment at Mimhanz Mental Hospital in Shillong. The hospital authorities called me first and said your husband will talk to you. Then I talk to him.' Did you understand the voice? In response to such a question, she said, 'Even after a hundred years, I will recognize my husband's voice.'

Hasina Ahmed also said, 'He said, I am alive. I am fairly healthy.' Hasina Ahmed said that efforts are being made to rescue him by reaching there quickly. Salahuddin's wife Hasina Ahmed said that the government will need help to get the visa.

After 63 days of his 'disappearance', the news of his finding came from the family. Law enforcement agencies still claim to be ignorant of the matter.

Salah Uddin's wife Hasina Ahmed said that Salah Uddin Ahmed called her from a place in India around noon today.

Hasina Ahmed then went to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan residence in the afternoon to talk about the matter. Reporters were told to call there. And said, I will tell you about it later.

Meanwhile, Mufti Mahmud Khan, commander of the media wing of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), said, 'As you have seen, we have also seen it. I don't know anything else about it. He (Hasina Ahmed) said, "So he knows where he is."

It is to be noted that BNP's Joint Secretary General Salah Uddin Ahmed was taken away from a house in Uttara of the capital on March 10 in the identity of law and order security forces.
