Mark Zuckerberg made a post on the Facebook page regarding the launch of Facebook Internet.org in Bangladesh. In that post, he mentioned that this service of Facebook will play a special role in the development of internet in Bangladesh.

Mark Zuckerberg also wrote in his post, 'We recently launched Internet.org on Robi Networks in Bangladesh. Basically it is another step to bring the world under connectivity.

Mark Zuckerberg also said that the population of Bangladesh is more than 17 crores but the internet users are less than 10 percent.
Highlighting the research data, Zuckerberg said that one out of every 10 people with internet connection has been freed from poverty. This is because, having an internet connection makes jobs, education, health, information and important communication possible.
