According to Italian media, the place where the migrants were rescued is very close to the Libyan coast. Irish, German and Belgian ships participated in the rescue operation.
Meanwhile, the United Nations said that from the beginning of this year to April, 40,000 people tried to cross the sea. People from Syria, Eritrea, Nigeria and Somalia are among these migrants who have crossed the sea. They have been trying to cross the sea due to extreme poverty - said the United Nations.
