The Dhaka Times Desk Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned with a promise to stand by Bangladesh. Narendra Modi also praised the hospitality of Bangladesh.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned tonight after a two-day state visit to Dhaka. Before going back, he said in a speech that India will always be with Bangladesh. We will walk with you. He said this to the audience at the beginning of a special speech delivered at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Sunday evening, the last day of the tour. Dhaka University organized this lecture program with the support of Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor AMS Arefin Siddique gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the program. After that two vice-chancellors of Dhaka University took Narendra Modi to the stage. DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AMS Arefin Siddique handed over the crest to him.
