Asia's longest Iftar is now in Srinagar, India. This Iftar is organized on the banks of Dallek in Srinagar in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. On Saturday evening, this huge iftar was organized on the road covering 1.6 kilometers next to Dal Lake.

Organizers told the media that Indonesia had previously organized Asia's longest Iftar at 1.3 km. Two years before that, a 1.2 kilometer long Iftar event called 'Joy of Giving' was organized in front of Al Noor Mosque in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Around this Asia's longest iftar event, the Saj Saj Rab started in Srinagar from the morning of that day. About 45,000 people participated in this grand Iftar event. By miking, local residents are invited by volunteer committees in various villages and towns. Mats are spread on the banks of Dal Lake and seating arrangements are made for everyone. There was also adequate lighting. Colorful light fringes are installed on the banks of Dal Lake at a distance of about 2 km.
