Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the result to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10 am. 2015 average pass rate is 69.60. 42 thousand 894 people got GPA-5. Last year (2014) 78.33 percent students passed HSC and equivalent exams. 70 thousand 602 people got GPA-5 last year.

It was earlier announced that the result of HSC, Alim and equivalent examination 2015 will be published today. At 10 am, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with the chairmen of the board officially handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban. After that, the Minister of Education will highlight various aspects of the results through a press conference at the secretariat in the afternoon.
It has been informed that Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and on the other hand Madrasa and Technical Education Board HSC, Alim, HSC (Vocational) and DIBS exam results at 1.30 pm on all education board websites, all related exam centers/education. It will be released simultaneously through organization and SMS.
The board will be able to collect the results published on the website, through web mail to all the examination centers/educational institutes concerned. The concerned institutions are advised to download the results through EIIN of the institution using the web mail of the website www.educationboard.gov.bd to publish the results also through web mail.
This time, a total of 10 lakh 73 thousand 884 candidates participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations under the 10 education boards of the country. 5 lakh 70 thousand 993 male students and 5 lakh 2 thousand 891 female students participated in the examination. This year, 8 lakh 86 thousand 933 students participated in HSC under 8 General Education Boards, 84 thousand 360 students participated in Alim under Madrasa Board, 98 thousand 247 students participated in Technical Board and 4 thousand 344 students participated in DIBS (Diploma in Business Studies).
