The Dhaka Times Desk Eid has come. However, the picture of Qurbani Eid is not finalized yet. There are four films to be released in this year's Eid festival, but the matter has not been finalized yet.

There are only 19 days left for Eid al-Adha. The Eid picture is not finalized yet. Four films are rumored to be released during the Eid festival, but so far not a single film has been submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board for clearance.

The 4 films announced for Eid release are:
Bangladesh-India joint production film 'Aashiqui'
Bangladesh-India joint production 'Black'
'Raja Babu - The Power' directed by Badiul Alam Khokon
'Full-length Love Story Two' directed by Safiuddin Safi.

Of these, only 'Aashiqui', a joint production of Bangladesh's Jazz Multimedia and India's SK Productions, has reportedly been finalized to go to the censor board. The film is directed by Ashok Pati and Abdul Aziz. Moushumi from Bangladesh, newcomer Nusrat Faria, Ankush from Kolkata acted in it.

Rajachand and Kamal Md directed the film 'Black', a joint production of Bangladesh's Kibria Films and India's Daag Multimedia. Kibria Lipu. It stars Bangladesh's Vidya Sinha Saha Mim, Amit Hasan, Amir Siraji, Kolkata's Soham, Rajathav Dutta and Mumbai's Ashish Vidyarthi. The shooting of the film has been completed recently.

Badiul Alam Khokon directed 'Raja Babu - The Power' song shooting is going on in Pattaya, Thailand. The film stars Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Bobby, Shahnoor, Diti and megastar Ujjal.

Meanwhile, Safiuddin is busy with the post-production after completing the shooting of 'Full-length love story 2' directed by Safi. The film stars Shakib Khan, Jaya Ahsan, Eman, Moushumi Hamid, Shahidul Alam Sacchu and Omar Sunny. How many of these films will finally be released depends on getting clearance from the Film Censor Board. Moreover, co-production films have to face the preview committee before the censors. Censor show will be held only after the preview committee finalizes whether the films have been produced in accordance with the principles of joint production.

All in all, the release of the film for this year's Qorbani Eid is still unclear. But it is expected to be final in a few weeks. Meanwhile, the production companies are saying that if it is not final, they cannot go for promotion.
