'Muhammad (PBUH): Messenger of God': Indian Muslims are angry at AR Rahman!

The Muslims of India are pointing fingers at the Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, whose popularity has spread worldwide.
The reason for this is that Indian Muslims have demanded the ban of the Iranian film 'Muhammad (PBUH): Messenger of God' made on Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Indian Muslims pointed fingers at AR Rahman for directing the music of this film.

Meanwhile, Raja Academy, an organization of Indian Sunni Muslims, has appealed to the Ministry of Home Affairs of India and the Iranian Embassy in India to ban the film. The Mumbai-based organization has sent a memorandum to Home Minister Rajnath Singh. This news was given by Indian Express.

The organization has also threatened to take legal action against AR Rahman. They claim that AR Rahman has hurt the religious sentiments of Indian Muslims by directing the music of this film.

Notably, 'Muhammad (PBUH): The Messenger of God' was produced by the renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi who received an Oscar nomination. This is the 1st announcement to make three movies on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). It depicts the story of the childhood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Director Majidi refrained from showing his face in the entire film as any kind of depiction of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is completely prohibited in Islam.
