Yesterday was the 13th day of the collapse of this multi-storied building 'Rana Plaza' and piles of bodies were found. Flesh fell from the bones of the bodies recovered. The hair is up. The head is falling apart. As a result, many relatives are not able to recognize the body of their loved ones.
Many bodies are being identified thanks to mobile phones and ID cards. And those whose mobile phones or ID cards were not found, are being handed over to their relatives through DNA testing to identify them.
Meanwhile, the number of dead bodies is increasing as time goes on. 55 dead bodies have been recovered from the first hour till night yesterday. With this, the number of dead bodies in the building collapse has increased to 665, out of which 528 bodies have been handed over.
The members of the fire service engaged in the rescue work said that immediately after the discovery of the body, the operation is being slowed down to rescue it. The rescue operation was somewhat hampered due to rain in the morning. However, as soon as the rain stopped, the activities started in full swing.
Meanwhile, several rescue workers have also joined with the new equipment yesterday morning to speed up the rescue operations. Although heavy equipment is being used to recover the body, the rescue work is being carried out very carefully. Because many bodies are still believed to be in the collapsed building.
Meanwhile, many are still missing. Relatives are still crying out in pain.
