In this game Bangladesh scored 240 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs in an impeccable innings of 73 runs by Shantar. South Africa was never able to create a chance to win in the run chase. Opener Liam Smith made a great century keeping one end. However, the current champions were bowled out for 197 runs due to the failure of the rest.
All in all, it is understood that it will be difficult for the Protea batsmen to chase 240 runs on this wicket. That's exactly what happened. No one else could play comfortably except Smith. And so they have been defeated by the Damal boys of Bangladesh.
