But for 4 long years, Manna's last film 'Leelamanthan' has been stuck on the censor board. This film is directed by Zahid Abhi.
General Secretary of Bangla Shilpi Samity Amit Hasan told the media, 'I can't say why the picture is stuck in the censor board. But I think it's good to release Manna's memory without holding it back. I strongly demand that this film be released for Manna fans.'
Actress Mousumi said, 'The story of this film is very good. 'Leelamanthan' was made with a story based on the Liberation War. But I don't know why it is stuck. I don't see any reason to stay stuck.'
Zahid Hossain, the director of the film 'Leelamanthan', told the media, 'I have been fighting for the film for 11 years. During the Manna festival, I was informed by the Censor Board that the film will be censored. In that case some changes may need to be made. I hope to be able to release the film if some parts of the film are removed.'
