According to BBC news, the company has announced that this new technology will be available to customers soon. The company made this announcement at the recently held World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. Last year, MasterCard piloted the use of selfies and fingerprints as password alternatives in the US and the Netherlands. After successfully starting operations in those two countries, the company is going to take the initiative to launch this new technology for use by everyone worldwide.

To get this new facility, the customer must first download the specific app on his smartphone, tablet or PC. Then start the app and look at the front camera of the phone for a certain time. Along with that, the eyelids should also be removed. This will set the customer's picture as the password.

This allows customers to log in to their account by verifying their identity. According to experts, this method will help prevent fraud. Due to which the possibility of money theft will be reduced to a great extent.
