Jaya's journey started with the movie 'Awarta' in Kolkata. Then acted in famous films like 'Ekte Bengali Bhoot Kaha' and 'Rajkahini' one after the other. Recently started working on a new film called 'Eagle Eye'.

According to the latest news, Jaya Ahsan is going to act in a film called 'Ami Joy Chatterjee'. 'Aami Joy Chatterjee' is Jaya's 5th film in Kolkata.

In 2013, he played the role of Charu Sen in the film 'Awart' and was nominated as the best young actor in the 'Filmfare Award East'. The very next year 'A Bengali Ghost Story' was released. After the success of this film, Jaya joined Srijit Mukherjee's 'Rajkahine'.

Jaya is currently shooting for 'Eagle's Eye', the 2nd film of Detective Shabar series directed by Arindam Sheel. It stars Kolkata actor Abir Chatterjee opposite Jaya.
