Inamul Haque and Sara Zaker are receiving 'Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Award'

The Dhaka Times Desk 'Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Award' received by two prominent theater personalities Inamul Haque and Sara Zaker. They will be honored today on April 8.

This year, on the second day of the Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Theater Festival on April 8, two prominent theater personalities Inamul Haque and Sara Zaker will be honored. In a press conference last (Tuesday) afternoon, Padatik Natya Sangsad gave various information about the theater festival and memorial awards.

The 5-day 'Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Theater Festival' started on Thursday, April 7. Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad Shireen Sharmin Chowdhury will inaugurate the festival in the main auditorium of Shilpakala Academy's Jatiya Natyashala today at 5 pm.

On the second day of the festival, today, April 8, at 5:30 pm, the memorial ceremony will be held in the main auditorium of the National Theater of Shilpakala Academy. Culture Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will be the chief guest, Mamunur Rashid, Ramendu Majumder will be the guest of honor and Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky will be the special guest.

8 drama groups from Dhaka and 2 from India are participating in this festival this year. During the festival, two plays will be screened simultaneously in the main auditorium and rehearsal theater hall of the National Theater of Shilpakala Academy. There will be cultural performances by various organizations from afternoon to evening in the open space outside the main auditorium.
