A child has 31 fingers and toes!

Pre-natal scans, however, showed no such abnormalities at all. That's why the level of surprise after the birth of a child increases several times for a Chinese couple.

According to media reports, the only son of this couple from China's Hunan province is currently 3 months old. Parents Adar Honghong has 15 fingers instead of 10 on both hands. He has 16 more toes. This child has 31 fingers in all.

Not only that, the baby has two palms on both hands to balance the fingers. This is how it is connected with the hand. But there is no thumb!

According to media reports, the parents of this child Honghong want to return the child to a normal life by doing hand and foot surgery. They also talked about this with the doctors of the local hospital in Hunan. But so far the doctors could not hear anything promising. Polydactyly (more than a certain number of fingers) is not uncommon in newborns. But what has happened in Honghong's case is that the doctors think that it is stressful to return to normal by surgery.
