Azgar Ali, a member of the Dinhata Legislative Assembly in Cooch Behar, India, cast his first vote at the age of 103. The reason for this is that Azgar Ali was a resident of the enclave of Bangladesh.

After the exchange of enclaves between India and Bangladesh on August 1, 2015, not only Azgar Ali, but 9776 voters were able to vote for the first time.

Surprisingly, three generations of members of Azgar Ali's own family also voted. Currently he is a resident of Mashaldanga, India. Azgar Ali went to vote in a special car under the management of the Election Commission. Entering the booth, the old man was somewhat embarrassed. A few days before the independence of India, Azgar Ali came to Madhya-Mashaldanga in Cooch Behar from Mymensingh, Bangladesh holding his father's hand. His mother and brother came with him. After living in this area for some time, his mother and younger brother returned to Mymensingh.

But Azgar Ali stayed with his father in Madhya-Mashaldanga. He got married there and raised his own family. At present, Azgar Ali's dream is to see the development of the area with his own eyes in his last life.
