The total number of mosques in Muslim and non-Muslim countries in the world is more than 2.5 million. There are about three lakh mosques in India. This information has emerged in a recent survey.

If we compare the number with the size of Bangladesh, Bangladesh has the highest concentration of mosques. On the other hand, as a city, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has the largest number of mosques.

According to Islamic Foundation Bangladesh, the number of mosques in the capital Dhaka is about 6 thousand. In terms of numbers, the number of mosques in Dhaka is more, but Dhaka is lagging behind in the campaign.
