The decision to stop the broadcast of Peace TV in Bangladesh

The Dhaka Times Desk It has also been decided to stop broadcasting of Indian TV channel Peace TV in Bangladesh. The decision was taken today (Sunday) in a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order.

At the end of that meeting, the chairman of the committee, Industry Minister Amir Hossain Amu briefed the journalists and gave this information.

Amir Hossain Amu also said that the narration given during Friday prayers will also be monitored. And those who will give sermons, they try to establish real religious discipline, that matter will also be kept in view.

In today's meeting, condolence resolutions were adopted over the terrorist attacks on the Holy Artisan Restaurant in Gulshan and the country's largest Eid congregation in Sholakia. At the same time, thanks have been given to the members of various law enforcement agencies including the police who have shown success in dealing with this situation. However, it was decided in the meeting that to increase the capacity of the police, more sophisticated weapons should be given and their training should be ensured.

In the meeting, the police said, among the 37 cases filed in connection with the terrorist attack, it was informed that 14 cases, including the murder of Konio Hoshi, Caesar Tabela, had been filed.
