The Dhaka Times Desk A Malaysian citizen has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for killing a Bangladeshi in Malaysia's Taman Kota Kulai province.
The Malay Times quoted the police and the court as saying that the murder took place on July 9, 2014 at around 1 am.
Court sources also said that a Malaysian citizen named Ahmad Izwan Mohammad Yatim (40) ambushed a Bangladeshi mess in Jalan Penang area of the province. A Bangladeshi named Emdadul Islam was killed on the spot during the knife attack.
It is known that Ahmad Izwan Mohammad Yatim, who escaped after the murder, was arrested by the Malaysian police on September 2, 2014.
Then his trial began. And at the end of this trial, Judge Datuk Mohammad Sophian Abdur Razzak (according to the law in that country) the High Court sentenced this Malaysian citizen to 8 years imprisonment based on the witness-evidence of Article 302 of Article 304 (B).
