There is no longer any obstacle to show 'Kelor Kirti' in Bangladesh

The Dhaka Times Desk The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court stayed the High Court's ban on the screening of the Kolkata film 'Kelor Kirti' in Bangladesh. Because of that, the movie was not prevented from showing in Bangladesh.

On July 20, the High Court issued a six-month stay on the release of the film 'Kelor Kirti'. At the same time, a rule was issued for 4 weeks asking why the exhibition of this film will not be illegal.

A four-judge appellate bench headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha stayed the high court's ban order in one order. The other members of the bench are Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui and Justice Mirza Hussain Haider. This order was given on the morning of July 24.

The movie 'Kelor Kirti' was planned to be released on July 22 in different theaters of Bangladesh.

Directed by Raja Chand, Kelore Kirti stars Kolkata Dev, Mimi Chakraborty, Jesus Sengupta, Ankush Hazra, Sayantika Bandyopadhyay, Kaushani Mukhopadhyay, Nusrat Jahan, Rudranil Ghosh.

The film 'Kelor Keerthi' is based on the Tamil film 'Charlie Chaplin'. This film was released in various theaters in Kolkata last Eid.
