The young man's discovery surprised everyone. It has been said that petroleum can also be produced artificially. Petroleum will be produced from plastic waste.

The claim of its discoverer Srijit is that not only petroleum but also refined petrol can be prepared by this method. It is possible to prepare turpentine and other substances from it. The carbon that will be obtained as waste in this process can also be used for other purposes through purification.

Petroleum is usually formed from marine fossils. However, the inventor Srijit created a prototype of the method of preparing refined petrol and petroleum products in an environmentally friendly way from plastic waste materials in this artificial way.

VS Sreejith, former director of the Kodungallur Science Center in Perinjanam Panchayat, Kerala, India, says that when petroleum is heated to a certain temperature, it produces plastic. Similarly, it is possible to produce gasoline from plastic using the polymerization process. He claimed that it is possible to prepare 9.6 liters of petroleum from only 10 kg of plastic in this method.

Srijit has been working with solid waste management for a long time. Along with that, he also tried to use the waste material differently with the students in a scientific way.

Now with permission from pollution control board and free waste available, this petroleum can be produced very easily just by employing labour. This process is done using LPG gas in the first stage. It has been reported that it will be possible to make petroleum using biogas later.
