The internationally renowned actress made her debut in Bengali film Priyamukh Champa with the superhit film Tinkanya directed by late director Shibli Sadiq. He won the National Film Award for his performance.

He has acted not only in films, but also in a significant number of dramas. The actress was away from acting for the past one year as she was out of the country for family engagements. After a long time, he acted in a play on Mother's Day this year. The name of the play is 'The Story of Jerin and Water'. After the airing of the play, actress Champa received a lot of response.

He is starting work again for the upcoming Eid al-Adha. Champa told the media that he will do a 6-episode work under the direction of Mahfuz Ahmed this year. After a few days I will go to Nepal to do the work. This play is Mahfuz's own production. Riaz will be the hero in this drama.

Recently, many actors and actresses of this generation are seen entering films. But they fall out before they are properly established. When asked to comment on this matter, Champa said, 'I will not blame the new boys and girls for this. 'Producers are messing up the new boys and girls.'

Champa also said that when a new boy or girl enters the film industry, instead of teaching him the work, the producers or directors spoil his head beforehand. As they are told, 'You have become a hero, you have become a heroine' etc. The incident is like this, before a flower blooms like this, they are killing the bud! They are basically wasting them without taking care of them. That's why we need to fix the base first. They will be made just as the young will make them. Being an actor or actress is as important as a producer or director with his own efforts.'

Regarding the current film, he said, 'At this time we are far behind in the story of the film. We are stuck in the teenage love of the ancient times. There is no variety in the story. We have to get out of this. But I firmly believe that the good days of films will return one day.
