Warning message from agriculture officer
Farmers will suffer more losses if Cyclone Mahasena hits. A message has been sent to the farmers to cut Boro paddy earlier. However, many paddies remain half-ripe even after it is the right time to harvest. Farmers have already started harvesting paddy on the advice of agriculture officials. However, the farmers said that even if some part of their cultivation was cut within two days, due to the non-ripening of the paddy, many areas of paddy could not be harvested. Due to this, the farmers are afraid of huge losses.
People on the coast are panicking
If Cyclone Mahasen hits the coastal area, there is a possibility that the low-lying areas of Anwara, Maheshkhali, Banshkhali, Katubdia, Sitakund, Patenga, Cox's Bazar and Sandwip areas will be inundated. Meanwhile, the existence of the city is in danger due to the collapse of various parts of the 23 km embankment protecting the city. Due to this, various types of fear prevail in people's minds. However, the public has been called upon to deal with the disaster with courage rather than being panicked by the administration.
