The Dhaka Times Desk Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has criticized the Saudi government over the management of the annual Hajj.
According to BBC Bangla news, Ayatollah Khamenei said in a statement before the start of Hajj this year that the Muslim world should reconsider the way the Saudi government is managing Hajj.
Last year, many pilgrims, including hundreds of Iranians, lost their lives due to overcrowding. The Tehran authorities are blaming the inefficiency of the Saudi management for this death.
The crises that are going on in different parts of the Middle East have brought Saudi Arabia and Iran to face to face.
Note that due to the breakdown of talks between these two countries, Iranian Muslims have been denied permission to perform Hajj this year.
