Bank account can be opened with a selfie!

The Dhaka Times Desk HSBC Bank business customers can now open new accounts with their selfies. The UK company is introducing this system to simplify the application process for opening an account.

According to the news, customers are asked to take a selfie from their phone and send it. Bank authorities will identify the selfie through facial recognition software and complete the deposit and withdrawal of the customer.

It has been reported to the media that a photo of a passport or driving license will also be required as an additional security measure in this novel method.

Note that this bank is currently using customer fingerprint and voice recognition technology.
