The Dhaka Times Desk Afghanistan finally fell to the Tigers. In addition to winning the series, Bangladesh set a record of winning 100 matches by snatching victory in the last match of the series.
Today (Saturday), in the third and last match at Mirpur Sher Bangla Stadium, Bangladesh batted first and collected 279 runs in 8 wickets. After this, the Afghan forces came down to bat and got out for 5 runs and the pace of the game slowed down. Somehow they survived by 138 runs and were defeated by Bangladesh by 141 runs.
