Shakib-Pari's 'Dhumketu' may release in December

The Dhaka Times Desk Shakib-Pari film 'Dhumketu' may release in December. The film is directed by Shafiq Hasan.

The film 'Dhumketu' is currently submitted to the censors. Shafiq Hasan, the director of the film, wants to release the film in December after getting the censor certificate.

Director Shafiq Hasan said, 'I have submitted the film to the censors on Thursday. Hope to get their permission this week. I want to release the film in December. We are moving forward with that plan.'

Director Shafiq said, 'I started the film about 2 years ago. As such it took me more time. But I have not made any concessions in the story or the production. I made the film with everything where the story required. Although I did the song visualization in the country, it was contemporary. Hope the audience likes it very much.'

Apart from Shakib Khan and Parimoni, the film also stars Amit Haasan, Diti, Ali Raj among others.
