Eggs came out of the belly of a swollen python! [video]

The Dhaka Times Desk One of Africa's largest species of snake has become a sensation. But this is really shocking news. A swollen python's stomach was cut and found full of eggs!

ঘটনাটি এমন, নাইজেরিয়ার এক প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামে ক’দিন ধরেই এক বাছুর নিখোঁজ হয়। এমন সময় এক গ্রামবাসী দেখতে পান যে বড় একটা পেটমোটা পাইথন। গোটা গ্রামে রটে যায় যে, ওই পাইথনটনাই নাকি বাছুরটাকে খেয়েছে। সন্দেহটা আরও তীব্র হয় পাইথনের ফোলা পেট দেখে। সবাই দেখেন পাইথনটা খুব ধীরে চলছে, পেটটা এতোটাই ফুলে রয়েছে যে চলতেই পারছে না সে।

To take revenge for killing the calf, the village people chased the python with a stick and once caught it, the village people threw the python into the camera with a stick. The python's stomach is then cut open to extract the calf. But after cutting the stomach, everyone is shocked! It turns out that the python's belly is swollen because it is pregnant. A cut through the stomach reveals that the python has dozens of eggs in its stomach.

That being said, though, there is a more serious allegation behind this news. The people of Nigeria where this incident happened are very fond of eating snake eggs. Realizing that pythons have eggs in their stomachs, the people there may have deliberately done this inhumane act.
