Only skeletons stand in this town. One after the other, in a row. There are no people in this city, no sound. Only silence is silence. As if a huge emptiness swallowed up the noise of the whole city!

It is truly an exceptional city. This city was once densely populated. There were markets, educational institutions, playgrounds, hospitals. There were also cinema halls, noisy vehicles. All facilities of modern life were in this city. There was joy and happiness among the locals. Here there was brotherhood among people, friendship, sociability and above all a peaceful life.

But one day some giants came to this city. They took away the peace of all the people here. Giants began to kill people! Women, children, old people were not spared from the hands of death. Those who survived fled to other cities in fear of their lives. The giants ransacked the entire city. That day was March 15, 2011. This city is Homs in Syria.

When the wind of the Arab Spring swept across the Mediterranean to Syria, it brought with it mutual hatred, hatred, domestic and international intrigue. Syrian political factions continued to divide. The march of all the terrible monsters like shelling, bombings, airstrikes began. That is, a bloody civil war began. Many traditional cities of the country were turned into ruins during the war. One of those cities is Holmes.

Currently, most of the buildings in the city are empty. As if each skeleton is standing with yawning face. Like human skeletons, these buildings have no windows, no doors, nothing is intact from the hands of bullets and bombs. How much hatred, how much hatred can cause this destruction, think once!

There are war scars everywhere in Homs. The buildings here have to endure the bullet injuries day after day. Missiles did not miss anything from AK bullets. It seems that a terrible punishment has come down on this city that is bewitched by God. In a word, a cursed city!
