Leopard in the college canteen: a big case!

Suddenly, something like a tiger's tail is moving in the kitchen of the canteen in the college campus. An employee steps forward to get a better look. The employee was shocked! It's really a tiger! He quickly left the kitchen and closed the door from outside. He started calling people.

The incident took place at the National Institute of Banking Management (NIBM) college campus in Kandh, Pune, India. That's how a leopard can be seen there. The college authorities quickly informed the matter to the forest officials. It was possible to capture the leopard after about 4 hours of effort.

Recently one morning the leopard got trapped in the kitchen on the first floor of the institute. On getting the information, the forest department officials alerted the NIBM authorities about the matter. After appearing at the scene, the leopard rescue operation started. After about 4 hours, the leopard was rescued by the efforts of 7 forest officials.

Local sub-conservation officer of forest Satyajit Gujar told media that the forest officials were trying to inject the leopard with anesthetic by breaking the glass window of the kitchen. But the leopard was running inside the kitchen to get out. On the sixth attempt, the leopard was knocked unconscious.

NDTV reported that after the rescue, the leopard was taken to the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park in Katraj. It was released in the evening of the same day in the Chandbali forest area.
