The Dhaka Times Desk Private Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) operator Rankstel has returned to the country's market in a new form. They are bringing a thousand Mbps Internet!
They have started their journey anew with the assurance of the highest speed internet service in the history of the country.
State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim unveiled the new service and logo of Rankstel yesterday (Sunday) afternoon at Hotel Radisson in the capital.
Along with voice calls, SMS, Rankstel said that it is able to provide this internet service with a speed of 1000 Mbps (megabytes per second).
Imran Ahmed, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) was present at the event. Shahjahan Mahmud and others.
