The Dhaka Times Desk In Japan's southwestern Saga district, a chicken farm was killed after the H5 strain of bird flu was detected.
According to media reports, first, a total of 52 dead chickens were found in the farm in Kohoku city, and after testing 7 dead chickens, all of them were confirmed to be infected with bird flu.
With the help of members of the country's self-defense ground forces, district government officials killed about 69,000 chickens and destroyed more than 6,83,000 eggs. Killed chickens are buried.
Officials said that 4 poultry farms located within three kilometers around the farm were also inspected to see if there were any irregularities.
It is reported that the owners of 12 poultry farms located between 3 and 10 km were interviewed to check for any abnormalities.
