The Dhaka Times Desk The bodies of 87 African migrants washed ashore near the Libyan city of Zabia. They were probably shipwrecked on their way across the Mediterranean to Europe.

A torn rubber boat was found near the recovered bodies. It is believed that the deceased may have boarded a boat to go to Italy. It is feared that some more bodies may be found. Because usually 120 people board each such boat. It is known that several children are among the dead.
These bodies will be taken to Tripoli for burial. The death toll of migrants trying to smuggle themselves into Europe has reached a record high in the past few months.
It should be noted that last year, at least 5,000 migrants died when their boats sank while trying to cross the sea to Europe.
