According to a report in the Daily Mail, this year, a record number of 318 individuals and organizations have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. US President Donald Trump is on this nomination list! Who was rumored to be in this list last year too.

The Nobel Peace Prize has been in place for the past 50 years, maintaining the anonymity of nominees. However, those who propose the names of parliamentarians, ministers, former Nobel laureates and some university professors can also reveal the names of those individuals and groups if they wish.

Notably, the Nobel Institute said that for 2017, 215 individuals and 103 organizations have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
