A project of 13 million rupees has been taken to kill rats!

It has been said that this money will be used to buy rodent killers and cleaning equipment. This city is currently home to twice as many rats as humans. Due to which the city dwellers have become fed up with pain.

Last December, some of the famous parks and gardens of the city were closed. Now forced to declare war against rats, the city authorities there.

Mayor Ann Hidalgo said the city is planning to spend $1.6 million to buy rat traps and clean up cigarette butts in the city's streets. Also, the authorities have been ordered to install more umbrellas at the entrances and exits of restaurants and residential buildings in the city.

According to the news, due to the lack of ashtrays, people throw their cigarette ends on the street, thereby increasing the number of rats. In Paris, the city's cleaners have to pick up only 150 tons of cigarette butts a year, along with other garbage. Therefore, the authorities have allocated so much money for the rat extermination campaign.
