Shakib's tutor Ali Hussain Jihad said, after being taken to the hospital, doctors said he died of a stroke. However, many eyewitnesses said that after going to the middle of the pond, he went to the bottom under the pull of something.
Tutor Ali Hossain said it took several hours to find him. He was underwater for a long time. As a result, the amount of water that was supposed to enter his stomach was nothing. After lifting from the water surface, very little water comes out through the mouth.

After this death, many people stopped going down to the pond in fear. 18/19 years ago, a night watchman named Wapdar Shamim was found unconscious on the bank of a pond. His clothes were wet. He died a day later. Even a keeper of the fish farmers in the pond was scared.
There have been scare stories about this large-scale pond of Power Development Board Brahmanbaria Distribution Division (WAPDA) in Datiara area of the city for a long time. Many said that not only the pond but the whole area of Wapdar is guilty. Many people still hear the sound of dancing and singing late at night on the roof of the Wapda employee residential building.
Officials here said that about 23 acres of land was acquired in 1962 in Datiara to house the offices and employees of Brahmanbaria Distribution Division of Electricity Development Board. In this, the pond of about 8 acres is dug and the soil is filled at the construction site. There are still many old trees throughout the area. The entire area is cool under the shade of these trees. But everyone has pointed to this tree. They believe that there is something hidden in this tree, that is, an invisible power!
