Ramgopal Varma's Indian political crime thriller 'Sarkar-3' is slated to release on April 7. Amitabh Bachchan, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee starrer is not lacking in the interest of the audience. However, due to the case filed by the screenwriter, the movie will be screened in court before its release.

According to a report in Times of India, the promotional work of this film has been stopped due to the lawsuit filed by Nilesh Girkar, the screenwriter of the movie 'Sarkar-3'. Girkar's claim is that director Ram Gopal Varma did not pay him full remuneration for the screenplay.

The Supreme Court of India ordered the screening of the entire film to verify whether the screenplay was entirely written by Girkar. However, the court ordered that no recording material can be kept during the exhibition to maintain the privacy of the movie.
