At night, charu is kept in the river or pond. In the morning it is seen that many fishes are stuck in it. This charu made of bamboo is made in such a way that the fish will enter the charu in the current but cannot get out. That is, in this method, since the charu remains in the water, it is possible to catch fresh fish just by removing the charu. This is how the village people catch fish from river or canal banks.
