Apu Biswas raised numerous allegations including Shakib's neglect towards him in the event which was broadcast live for almost an hour. He also told how they got married through this ceremony.

Notably, actor Shakib Khan faced nationwide criticism after the broadcast on TV. The matter became the talk of the country.
