Internet prices are falling again

The Dhaka Times Desk State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim said that the price of internet is being reduced again.

Tarana Halim told reporters in the meeting room of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications in the Secretariat recently.

Prior to this, State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim held a meeting with mobile operators. Representatives of various mobile operators including IIV, ITC, BSCCL OISP were present in that meeting.

প্রতিমন্ত্রী তারানা হালিম বলেন, ‘আমি ভ্যাট ট্যাক্স এবং রাজস্ব ভাগাভাগি করে, ছাড় দিয়ে হলেও দাম কমাবো। আমি দু-একদিনের মধ্যে এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে অর্থমন্ত্রীকে চিঠি দেবো।’ যেভাবেই হোক দাম কমাবো। তবে এটির ফল পেতে আরও ৬ মাস সময় লাগবে।’
