What is the result of disaster in Comilla due to humanitarian and business administration?

Comilla Education Board results are believed to have caused such a major disaster due to major problems in 5 subjects of Humanities and Business Administration along with English and Mathematics in the secondary examination.

Last year 84 percent students passed in Comilla board. The teachers and board officials identified 3 reasons behind this disaster.

These are:

First: poor results of humanities and business administration students,
Second: Reducing the number of MCQ sections
Thirdly: Tightening overall account assessment.

Comilla Board officials said, necessary measures will be taken by identifying the educational institutions of this board where more students have failed in English and Mathematics.

Of the 1 lakh 82 thousand 979 students who took part in the SSC examination from Comilla Board, 74 percent of them were humanities and business administration students; The rest are science students.

Today's published results show that a total of 1 lakh 8 thousand 11 people have passed this time in three categories. Of the 41 percent who failed, 37 percent were humanities and business administration students.

While 84.16 percent passed in science and 56.56 percent in business education, the pass rate in humanities dropped to 41.14 percent. As the number of students in humanities and business administration is high, the overall pass rate of this board has come down a lot this time.

4 thousand 450 students passed in this board got GPA-5. But last year 6 thousand 954 got full GPA from this board.

Chairman of Comilla Board Professor Abdul Khalek told the media that 25 thousand 606 students failed in English and 34 thousand 989 students failed in Mathematics this year. These numbers are 14 and 19 percent of the total examinees respectively.

Last year too, 94.99 percent of students passed in English and 92.19 percent of students passed in mathematics, Comilla Board Examination Controller Qaiser Ahmed told the media.
