Our country is called a riverine country. The rivers of this country are carrying a tradition. However, due to the evolution of time, the rivers do not have water in the dry season.

এই নদী নিয়ে অনেক কবিতা রচিত হয়েছে- ‘আমাদের ছোট নদী চলে বাঁকে বাঁকে, বৈশাখ মাসে তার হাঁটু জল থাকে….’। আজকের এই দৃশ্যটি সত্যিই এক চমৎকার দৃশ্য। আষাঢ় মাস একেবারে নিকটে। আর কদিন পরেই শুরু হবে বর্ষা। বর্ষা এলে আমাদের নদীগুলোতে পানিতে ভরপুর থাকে। তখন নৌকা নিয়ে চলাচল করা সত্যিই এক আনন্দের বিষয় হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। আজকের সকালে ভরা নদীতে পালতোলা নৌকার এমন সুন্দর একটি ছবির জন্য এর আলোকচিত্রীকে অশেষ ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছি।
